It's really early, but I think it's pretty good as it is. I think Purdue has a chance to be higher.

A veritable traffic jam in the ACC, with FSU, Maryland, State, and Virginia between 12 and 17. Obviously, unless all four teams lose just two games to each other, none of them will be where they're ranked right now. And it looks like the ACC expansion could be a good move in football, with Miami #3 and VT #10. Granted the teams will be different in 2004, but it's a nice boost to the ACC image.

I'd also say that one of the Big XII teams in the Top 5 is not going to be there when the season ends, especially as Texas plays both K-State and OU again this year and K-State will likely be playing one of the other two in the championship game unless a darkhorse emerges in the North.

Kind of disappointing to see Iowa ranked 26th... And 3 Big 12 teams in the top 5? Please:rolleyes: the conference is good(hate to admit it but probably the best) but 3 in the top 5 is a little overboard. Especially considering it wouldn't be possible for all 3 teams to finish that high....
