I have a Blackberry and am trying to get it to sync with my computer. The options that Blackberry Desktop give me for the calendar sync is ASCII file, or Yahoo Calendar. Yahoo Calendar sucks and I hate it so I am desperately trying to find a way to sync my Yahoo Calendar with Outlook so I can then sync my BB with Yahoo Calendar.

I tried to sync with the ASCII, but Outlook will only export to a .ics file, so the sync just errors out.

I found where Yahoo has an "autosync" feature, but it's only compatible with Windows 2000 and XP, and I run Vista. So that isn't an option.

I also found where I can import from Outlook into Yahoo Calendar, but Yahoo needs a .csv file, and when I try to export out of Outlook, but again, it only gives me the option to create a .ics file.

So I'm completely frustrated and annoyed and at this point, ready to launch the laptop and the blackberry out the window. Can anyone help me with this????

Just from googling, check this out maybe? 30 day demo.

What did you google? I tried "import from outlook to yahoo", "importing calendar into yahoo", and every other similar phrase I could think of...

Anyway, downloading the trial now, if it works, you will be new favorite person on earth! :D

Ugh. I converted the ICS file to a CSV file, saved it to my documents, went to Yahoo, clicked Import - found the file, got an error message..." The selected file could not be imported. Please check the file format and try again."

There is an option to save it as an IPD - Blackberry file, I might try that but I'm not even sure how I'd get it onto the Blackberry once I had the file...would it be as simple as installing it??? Seems like I'd have to open it on the Blackberry or something, which is just a little ridiculously complicated if that is true...there has to be an easier way to do this.
