Has anyone else noticed that the Bengals are wearing mismatch jersey's ? Some have a white strip that stops at the under arm while other have white stripes that extent up the back of the shoulder.
Just curious ? This appears to be the worst 'New' uniform season ever.

I don't get the whole armpit-stripe thing anyway.
Anyone else see on ESPN where Cleveland was voted ugliest uniform?
Green Bay was close behind?
I don't think they polled football fans...

Cincinnati had great uniforms before they changed them.
Atleast college football is going back to basics (Oregon, BYU, ect).

She's watching their asses. Remind her that it's padding...
I hate Detroit's black jerseys. Call me racist if you want. :D I just think thewy looked hideous. Next they should add pink, purple and any other color that marketing surveys show are cool and hip!

Carolina Panthers should sue. Gary Danielson had it right. Simple blue and silver. Silver numbers on the blue jerseys. Get rid of all the white off both the jersey/pants and helmets.

I absolutely hate to turn on the tv and think who the heck is playing the ___ fill in the blank. Some of these changes are just awful. Why do some teams feel the need to suddenly be Raiders wannabe's ;) and throw black into their uniform? The NFL is getting to be alot like MLB in regards to willy nilly uniform changing. In my opinion it is not good for the league. I don't mind small changes over an extended period of time, but forty eleven different uniforms for the season stinks.
Some uniform changes make no sense whatsoever. The seahawks just don't show up well on tv. They look almost colorless. Simple, and broken up is much better IMO.

Back to the Bengals though... I actually had a dream that the Bengals allowed the players to strip their own helmets... The uni was simple (unlike the abomination they now have) and the differences in the helmet striping from player to player was unique.
But the No Fun League would never go for it.

Best Jersey's Ever!
The power blue is why I love UCLA's look as well.

Gee, someone reads ESPN's Uni Watch (http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=lukas/050907)...
And agreed on the Chargers' baby blues...love, love, LOVE them.

Oh, and the traditional Lions jerseys too. I still think that some of the most aesthetically pleasing games to watch were Lions/Bucs games, on grass, on a nice sunny day. The combo with the blue, silver, orange, and white on a vibrant green.

The Colts, Packers, Browns, Giants, Jets...great. Chiefs too.
In fact, the only uni's that are dumb are the 'new style' like the Bengals, Falcons and Cards.
While watching the Dolphins and Broncos I thought of how dump the new leg stripe that isn't a stripe looks on the Denver pants. How cool the Dolphins uni's still are.
Then I saw the Falcons and that stupid logo with that retro pant stripe.
When the Cowboys change to that look with a leaning star blasting off into space...that is when hell is about to freeze over.

Ah yeah! The old Charger jersey. My high school jersey to a tee except I wore number 22.
Just last Saturday I saw Georgia Tech highlights where they wear the gold jerseys again. And they have normal pants without a dumb retro stripe.
If only by the grace of some higher being they would go back to the white helmets and black logo outlined in gold....celebration day!
You know, talking about the Bengals uni's....they look like arena league. Or halloween.
And now that I am all upset about this again! Why, why? What is up with the Lions going to black jerseys? And then the Cards look like idiots now too, where they used to be cool.
Maybe a doctor would be good to help me watch these things and not freak out so much?

Same- I think powder blue looked good... in books about the 70s not on modern football uniforms.

With the Blackhawks, Bulls, and Bears, the city of Chicago is lucky enough to have the three best looking jerseys in their respective sports (imo.)
I don't see how we have anything to lose by letting our fashion experts run the front offices of those respective teams as well. They couldn't do any worse.

Ugh - I've never liked any of Chicago's uniforms (ok, the Blackhaws' red jerseys are ok), save for maybe when the White sox incorporated red or red and light blue.
The only problem with today's implementation of the powder blues for me is the fact that they use that damned shiny finish rather than the matte finish. I blame this whole trend on the early 80's Cowboys and their fancy-boy not-quite-blue-not-quite-silver sparkle pants.
I too really liked the simpleness of the Bills' throwbacks and of the silhouette of the buffalo on the helmet (the look I was going for with my "retro" Orlando Orcas helmet a while ago).
