I just finished reading a book called "Committed: confessions of a fantasy football junkie (http://www.bookcloseouts.com/default.asp?Ntk1=Default&Ntt1=committed&Ntx1=matchall&Nsl=0&Ix=0&R=0743267567B&Rt=290&Nty1=1)" and I thought I'd recommended it to my friends over here.

Describing himself as a B plus/C minus kind of guy and kind of mad at never having won his fantasy football league championship, Mark St.Amant (http://www.markstamant.com/)decided to leave his job for the 2003 season and devote the whole season to his team and he made a book out of it. So with that, you follow his team around as he explains what moves he's done, interviews other FF addicts, and even give some insights as to where FF comes from. He also gives out newbie tips although they are mostly common sense tips that most of us who've been playing FF for a while already know.

Mark St. Amant is also the writer/editor/owner of a fake sports news site called The Sports Rag (http://www.thesportsrag.com).

All in all, I thought it was a fun read, written in the Bill Simmons style a little bit. Warning, the guy is a Pats fan, but I didn't see that it was overwhelmingly present. I mean he says a couple times that he was watching a Pats game, but he's not pimping any Pats player, even referring to Brady as the Aikman of now, as in he wins games but is not really an absolute FF stud. I had a few laugh-out-loud moments, especially in the sense that some of his antics reminded me of myself on many occasions...

Even better about the book, you should probably able to pick it up from the bargain table, or from my favorite bargain bookstore, Bookcloseouts.com (http://www.bookcloseouts.com/default.asp?Ntk1=Default&Ntt1=committed&Ntx1=matchall&Nsl=0&Ix=0&R=0743267567B&Rt=290&Nty1=1).
