Moon Bloodgood's decision to free the main character made no sense. No one would ever believe that that decision could end in a good way, but, of course, it does because the story needs something to move things along.

Also, the way the "twist" is revealed to the main character is so damn amateurish. Having the supercomputer narrate everything to the stunned main character? That's lazy. T3's twist was executed so much better.
