Nebraska Dominates Fresno State in First Road Test

In what many experts were predicting as a trap game for Nebraska after their huge win over Miami, the Huskers walked into Bulldog Stadium and walked away with a relatively easy win.

Nebraska's offense once again pounded the rock for an amazing 376 yards rushing and 6 TDs. Senior HB Ameer Abdullah led the way with 271 yards rushing and 2 TDs. Back-up running back Imar Cross also went over 100 yards. While Sopomore QB Tommy Armstrong Jr had a decent day with 227 yards passing and a TD he also threw 2 picks but the mistakes would not cost the Huskers.

A close game at the half, only a 21-14 lead by Nebraska turned into a blow-out thanks to a 3 TD third quarter by the Huskers. Nebraska would go on to win 49-28 to improve to 3-0 on the season. Next up for Nebraska a 2 week layoff before they kick off the Big Ten season with another road game against new Big Ten member Rutgers.
